I am so saddened by the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, on December 14, 2012. Why did these young children and teachers have their lives taken from them? This just breaks my heart for the families. I am praying for them and lighting a candle in remembrance of all 26 victims.
I cry sometime when listening to new stories or reading about it online. I just cannot imagine the amount of pain and suffering these families are experiencing. I will keep them in my heart and pray for healing grace and strength and courage. I believe that we should make sure we give lots of hugs to our loved ones and be sure to let them know how much love them. We never know when they might not return home to us. Life really is so precious and fragile.
